The only the only reason we are visiting Wales is to see Peters cousins. Chris mum and Peters mum are sisters, Chris was born in Wollongong but has lived all her life in the UK. They are living in a home that is over 300 years old. The walls are about 30-60cm thick and made of stone. They don’t have a concrete slab, but the slate floor tiles are laid directly onto the earth. Apparently it lets the old homes breathe.
