After completing a few task earlier in the day, we set off on a 1.2 mile walk towards berthna green station at 6:00pm, planning to save time by walking instead of catching several trains. The underground train systems were stuffy and often required to take our jumper off as the humid conditions of the cabins along with the crowded space became unbearable. This was after we had skipped a few trains as there were so many people crammed into the tiny spaces that it seemed in humane to even board them. Though, it was only 2 stops before we got off at Stratford station, the main station for the Stratford Westfield and London Olympic stadium.
We didn’t need to know the correct path to the stadium as a massive horde guided us towards the entrance, a long 10 minute walk where we passed the winding pathways of the Olympic grounds and the local velodrome peter had been craving to see. After being searched down by local guards and located our gateway(A), he headed in the appropriate direction.
We were though almost denied access as the online tickets we had were very unreliable and were not working. Luckily, the security guard was very patient and assisted us in entering the stadium. After passing through, we quickly located our seats and sat down promptly. The stadium was huge and the crowds were quickly developing as kickoff drew near. We met a few avid supporters but the one who sat next to us was very enthusiastic and smelt like beer. Then the supporters started to sing their anthem where they talked about bubbles and how they floated up to the sky.
